The Parlour
Wheelbirks Parlour; which is run by Tom’s wife Lucinda, provides plenty of flavour for all the family thanks to its warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Experience and indulge in the freshest of Wheelbirks award winning ice cream, milkshakes and luxury ice cream desserts all produced just a few hundred yards from your seat. Also serving a range of fresh coffees, speciality teas and cold drinks.
Take in the beautiful views of Northumberland countryside while enjoying the best in home cooked food including our wholesome children’s menu; all made using our very own meat and dairy products and the best quality locally sourced ingredients.
A fantastic family day out is guaranteed at Wheelbirks with play areas to suit all ages. Younger children can enjoy the excitement of an indoor pre-school play area (due to the popularity of the pre-school play area as a venue for birthday parties, the play area is often booked and therefore unavailable on Sunday mornings between 10am and 12noon), while older children can run safe and free in the orchard playing area (open from spring - october half term - weather permitting), which is full of adventure and thrills. With play equipment in both areas Wheelbirks promises to leave no one out of the fun.
On Sundays we serve traditional roast Jersey beef dinners (£9.95) instead of our Meal of the Day. Unfortunatley we are not able to serve paninis or quarter pounders on Sundays.
No booking necessary, except for parties of more than 6 which can be arranged by calling the Parlour on 07717 282014.

We now offer a take-away service for the food and drink served the parlour.
We are very happy to take table bookings on weekdays during term time (Unfortunatley we are unable to reserve tables in the pre-school playarea). Please give us a call to arrange this. However as weekends and school holidays are so busy we are only able to take reservations for tables for 10 or more people, with pre-ordered food.
Please don't forget that we offer a range of gluten free products, sweet and savoury. If you are coming up specially it might be worth giving us a ring to ensure we have some available for you!
The parlour is also an ideal place to hold your child's party! We have already hosted many, which have been a great sucess. If you are interested in more information, or would like to book a children's party please fill in one of our flyers!

The Parlour at Wheelbirks provides the perfect setting for
parties of all kinds, our varied areas make a wonderful venue for special
celebrations in the evening: our premises are licensed and we

Why not use the Parlour as a refreshingly different location
for business meetings or events? We provide Wi-Fi and access
to power free of charge.
Gift vouchers are now available to purchase from the parlour, choose from either £5, £10 or £20 vouchers to be spent within the parlour. We have recently introduced a loyalty card scheme. Receive one stamp per visit (when purchasing ice cream) and receive a free single scoop ice cream when you have collected 6 stamps! Buy an ice cream to collect your loyalty card next time you visit.
